getting involved in the East of England First Response scheme.

Are you a serving member of the Armed Services based in the area covered by the First Response scheme in the East of England.

Could you commit to operating a Front Line Rapid Response Car, providing Clinical Skills and helping to Save lives in and around the local community?

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust runs a Clinical training course covering Intermediate Life Support, Trauma, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. As well as all other aspects of First Aid and Patient Care.

Applicants will be interviewed by a member of the Ambulance Service and from within the team.

Once selected you will undergo a week long intensive training course undertaken by the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust  certified by Edexcel and following the IHCD Syllabus of First Person on Scene (Intermediate).

Once qualified you will join the team and be expected to operate on the car at least 3 shifts per month as a Clinical Responder, but many do much more than this.
